Welcome To Williamsport United Methodist Church
We are a group of folks looking for meaning and seeking a purpose greater than ourselves. We would like to extend an invitation for you to come by and see us! Williamsport Church is a family and we would love to get to know you, walk a while with you on the journey, and see what God has in store for all of us together.
When visiting WUMC you can expect to meet people from all different walks of life. Our hope is that everyone who steps foot in our doors will feel that they belong.
We love kids. If you have children make sure to check out our Sunday School and Nursery opportunities. Sunday School is for all ages and starts at 10am.
There is a parking lot next to the church where there is handicap parking access available. If this area is full we also have parking spots along East Church Street.
We want everyone to be themselves. You will find some of our congregation likes to dress up, and others will wear jeans & shorts.
Rev. Susan E Boehl
Pastor Susan has served the people of WUMC for ten years and is looking forward to as many more as God allows. Her greatest joy is when someone learns something about themselves and the relationship they can have with Jesus. Stop by and say Hello! She can't wait to meet you!
Program and Youth Director
Diana worked 13 years as a social worker for WV dealing with families and children and developed a niche and passion to help people and fix their problems. Diana brought her skills and passion to our church over a decade ago, serving the community and helping people find their way to Jesus Christ.
If it is happening at WUMC, Diana knows about it! She will help YOU find a place to serve God, share fellowship, find new friends, and get a blessing that can change YOUR life!
Diane is a graduate of Shenandoah Conservatory and leads all musical activities here at WUMC. Her leadership and musical talent is only two of her many gifts. Her love of the Lord guides her life and her ministry among us! She brings the best out of our choir and leads our spirits in worship with her expertise at the organ and piano benches. She is a blessing to all!
Debbie is the glue that holds us together administratively. From dealing with the public to internal communication to financial leadership, Debbie is a gift to WUMC. Married to a United Methodist Minister and herself having studied ministry, Debbie is uniquely qualified to help the visitor as well as long time members with any needs that arise.
